What Kind of Massage Do I Need?
When you come in, I will always do a check in whether it’s your first time working with me or we’ve been working together for years.
“What brings you in to see me today?”
“What are some of your areas of focus or concern?”
“What are your goals with massage?” (either today, or in the short or long term)
Your massage will always be tailored to your needs on any particular day, which can vary over time as things can come up — more stress at work, trained too hard at the gym a few days ago, or minor back or neck tweak that could use attention. Sometimes just a little bit of rest and relaxation is all that’s needed for the day!
My bodywork style is designed to target focused areas of concern combined with full-body attention for both a specialized and comprehensive massage. I blend elements of full-body Swedish, Deep Tissue pressure, and specific Trigger Point Therapy work to create your therapeutic experience.
Whether you’re dealing with neck and shoulder tension from working at your desk, soreness from yesterday’s workout, or compensation resulting from an injury — I’d love to help you feel better.
